Íà÷èíàåòñÿ ïîäãîòîâêà îïåðàöèè ïîä íàçâàíèåì "Êèòàéñêàÿ øêàòóëêà".  Ãåðìàíèè àãåíòîâ-óáèéö ãîòîâÿò ê âûïîëíåíèþ çàäàíèÿ â ñïåöèàëüíîé äèâåðñèîííîé øêîëå. Çäåñü ñîâåòñêèå ïëåííûå ñîëäàòû èñïîëüçóþòñÿ êàê æèâîé ìàòåðèàë äëÿ îáó÷åíèÿ àãåíòîâ íåìåöêîé ðàçâåäêè. Òðåíèðîâêó âûäåðæèâàåò òîëüêî îäèí èç ïðåòåíäåíòîâ íà îñîáóþ ðîëü â èñòîðèè. Èì îêàçûâàåòñÿ áåãëûé ðóññêèé ñîëäàò Ïåòð Òàâðèí. "Êèòàéñêàÿ øêàòóëêà" - òîò ñëó÷àé, êîãäà èìÿ óáèéöû, îáúÿâëåííîå â ñàìîì íà÷àëå äåòåêòèâà, åùå ñîâñåì íè÷åãî íå çíà÷èò". |
